The project aim was to develop new routes in the mediterranean focusing on creating sustainable adventure tourism products and services and creating cross border linkages among project partners. To achieve this the project conducted baseline analysis and research on the existing products, including suppliers and service providers, conducted capacity building programs to enhance stakeholders’ capabilities in developing new / upgrading existing sustainable adventure tourism products and services and further supported them through grants. Afterwards to ensue cross border cooperation, the project supported marketing activities and creation of sales and promotion platforms for these new and enhanced existing products and itineraries.
