This project aimed to champion the stewardship of adventure tourism in Jordan by establishing a dedicated Sustainable Adventure Tourism Committee (SATC). A consultant acted as a facilitator, fostering collaboration among key players in the industry through meetings, workshops, and discussions. They helped craft a comprehensive action plan to set up the SATC, emphasizing responsible practices and the long-term sustainability of adventure tourism in Jordan. The consultant also drafted agreements and a charter to ensure all parties collaborate effectively in promoting responsible adventure experiences. The overall goal was to create a well-structured and enduring SATC that safeguards Jordan's natural and cultural heritage while promoting responsible and enjoyable adventure tourism experiences.
